Version release date of Opera and Opera Mobile

Hi Opera Team,

Thanks for giving us the awesome browsers.

I would like to ask you about the versions and its release dates for Opera and Opera Mobile. Are they both released with same date and version number?

Oper Mobile is currently version 51, while the desktop browser is 60.

At one time they did try to keep the version numbers in sync, but obviously they are not doing so now.

And no, they aren't released at the same date. It may happen eventually as a merely coincidence.

I realise that Opera 60 is only R3, not that final one. Does the opera mobile only catch up with the final version?

R3 is just a codename.

Opera for desktops, Opera for Android, Opera Mini and Opera Touch are independent products.
