[Solved]Unremovable Icon in Taskbar

Presumably as a result of a recent update, I now have an Opera icon bottom left of my taskbar. Permanently - even when Opera isn't running. I don't want this and neither Windows10 nor Opera gives me an option to toggle it off. How can I remove and disable it? Thanks

@sgunhouse As I said, there is no option to remove it. Right click gives me an Opera menu; Tasks: new tab, new window, new private window then Opera browser the close window. No unpin option

@sgunhouse thanks but already done that. The icon is still there with the same menu options when Opera has been closed by task manager. Still no unpin option.

OK I sorted it. I deleted launcher.exe and rebooted. In the taskbar was then a generic Windows icon I could remove. Restored launcher.exe, rebooted again and the Opera taskbar icon now closes when I close Opera as it should. Just hope it doesn't do it again
