Shift+Ctrl and right arrow when i write a character in address bar and show automatically the link of a website, the marked word (blue color) doesn't moved to the right to unselect the word as it does in Chrome.
In the gif, when i'm in Opera, the action doesn't appear while pressing the key combination as it shows in Chrome (Shift+Ctrl and right arrow action to the right direction, not the left) That's what i'm talking about.
Mozilla works too
Gif example that im made for that: https://imgur.com/a/7DZIdkg

@sgunhouse I don't mean that, but word per word with Shift+Ctrl+ -> (right arrow).

I can confirm.
-
Open up a new tab.
-
Type
g
andgoogle.com
will autocomplete withoogle.com
being highlighted in blue. -
Press ctrl + shift + right arrow and the selection will trim down to the next word boundary so that just
com
is highlighted. In Opera, the shortcut doesn't do anything. (Probably because the autocompleted part isn't considered part of the text yet)

Also confirm this, and it would be nice to add this feature. I know not many will use this, and from those who do there are other alternatives, relatively fast, but not quite as fast.
I noticed that the problem can be summed up by this: when suggesting an url the selection is made from left to right. the better way is to have the selection from right to left . This way, when you hold shift and hit left/right arrow the selection is adjusted from the left, this way fixing this problem. Chrome does it this way (the end result is the same, don't know about implementation).
Thanks and Hi to all -
