absurd that you can't do the backup/import at least with another extension?! it seems to me so useful as a function.

+1 very important and deal breaker for some people, especially for people that like to change their device often like tech reviewer. If Opera team want more people to user Opera browser, this should be one of the priority.

I just installed Opera GX, I reallly like it so far, but this is one of the first things I looked for. I can't believe I didn't find extensions under profile -> sync everything.

its almost 2024, still no sync extension, goodbye opera, i will be using edge from now on

can't believe the core team missed this feature. I guess their best interest is to gain new users with fancy features but not to retain them........

@pythoneerhiro Opera Developer 107 has an option to sync extensions but it doesn't seem to be working yet.

There is a closed beta version for windows. But yeah, its available for mac and ios at the moment.

This feature could have been added instead of collecting people's information. You are no different from Google.

Opera developers simply do not know how to synchronize extensions, they would have to look at how it is done in other browsers. But unfortunately they don't have access to the sources...
