Faint Text on tabs

Does anyone have a solution for almost unreadable text on browser tabs. The text on my tabs is so faint that I am unable to read it easily. The only one that can be read is the current 'coloured' tab. I cannot seem to see a solution in 'settings' but maybe I am missing something

What helped me was to use a dark theme so that the tabs are white text on a black background.

Thanks for the suggestions. My 'Dark Theme' is enabled which gives me a blue background with white text on the active tab, (Great) . Non-active tabs are white with light grey text (unreadable). The 'Back', 'Reload' and 'Search' text is also unreadable

@pastel10 ... Try this ..., in Settings, Enable Dark Theme. (which you have done).
Then under wallpapers, select a black wallpaper. That should work.
On my setup, the active tab is a dark gray background with white text.
The inactive tabs are black with white text. I also have minor vision problems and my setup makes it
much easier to read. Hope this helps. One other thought, disable any tab extensions that might conflict with this.

Hi @ceedee , thanks for the screenshot which looks good to me and I have found that this is the same as on my Windows 10. On my Windows 7 computer, however, this is where the problem is. I will have to put the two computers side by side to check on settings.
In the mean time, should I need to post a screenshot, would you explain the procedure as I have not found out how to actually post it.
Thanks -

make your screenshot using whatever means you prefer
I use win 7 snipping tool
then hit reply on here
click the icon on far right at top of reply box
[looks like a cloud with an up arrow in it]
it will insert the pic in your post

Thanks for that. Tried but a red box appeared in bottom right corner saying that I have not got enough 'privileges' (whatever they are.......) Any ideas how I get to be privileged?

@ceedee
Did you try what browzer1 suggested ?
for some cludgey reason it would seem opera choses its toolbar colour based on the wall paper chosen
select a dark one and try it -

I placed the two computers next to each other and ensured that all the settings were identical including 'Dark Themes' etc but still no change. The Windows 10 laptop is fine but the Windows 7 desktop is still the same. Do you think it is something to do with versions 7 or 10?

@pastel10 could you make a screen shot like the one I posted above showing the easy setup pop out.
I am on win 7 and it works ok I have no experience with win 10 don't use it so cant comment on that.
