Unless it's Opera Next, If i install Opera (i managed to uninstall), Everything is Opera! Open a Image, Opera! Start a Program, Opera! Everything is Opera! Help Me! All i could get to is Opera! And the Start menu buttons luckily! If this has happened to you or you know what to do, Please tell me! I like using Opera! (And don't say just keep using Opera Next.)

Hard for me to follow you. If you completely uninstalled Opera Next, is your Operating system windows. If so, did you install Opera 21 from this link?

At the top of the page, you can click on a tab to download a version of Opera for Mac or Linux.

Yes i did use that link. Any Opera besides Next makes everything run on Opera is what i am trying to say.

It looks like your file type associations are messed up somehow, even for .lnk files...
Try a web search for "fix .lnk association".

Opera should not try to open desktop shortcuts or Start menu items other than websites. If it is doing that, the problem is in Windows and removing Opera will not fix it. Opera will try to assume any file associations set to IE if you set Opera as default, but shortcuts shouldn't be associated with IE either so something is wrong with your system. (If images are set to open with a regular image viewer or editor, Opera shouldn't change them.)

There's a program in Windows called "System Restore." It doesn't wipe your system fresh or anything like that, it simply allows you to restore your system to a previous date. If you noticed the issue on the 25th for instance, take the system back to the 19th.
Simply type the name "System Restore" in the start menu for Windows Vista and 7.
For Windows 8 (and maybe 8.1,) they forgot to add it to the Start Menu, but the program itself is actually still there.
To access it for those versions, hold the "Windows" key on your keyboard and hit the letter "R".

In the little Run box that will pop-up, type "RSTRUI" or "rstrui.exe" then click "OK" in the little window. That will start the System Restore program. -

You could also Remove Opera and then clean out the registry with something like CCleaner. You might have to restart your computer after you've removed Opera if it doesn't go completely away when uninstalled, then clean the registry. Some files might be orphaned at this point and will require you opening up the programs you use and setting them as default
System Restore is good but there are only certain dates to choose from to roll back to. Partitioned drives will not be affected though

If they're not being monitored that is which I don't think they are, usually it's just the C drive.
Good luck though, I've had that happen a couple times through the years and it's a pain in the ass

.lnk is a special file type, you won't be able to reset it via the Control Panel even though it appears there.If you search in the web for "fix .lnk association" you can see how to edit the registry manually.

Never happened to me or any machines I take care of (mine, family and friends who have Opera installed and use it normally). -
