Sorry to bump, but this ended up at the bottom of page two very quickly, and I just wanted to make sure that as many people as possible had a chance to contribute before the survey is closed.

No option to do that. At least that i can see.
Ah, I just assumed there was an option.

What do you use tabs for in Opera. Some obvious examples are:
- Multi-tasking (using a new tab to do something else)
- Opening multiple items (search results, links to articles) without losing the original page
- Keeping tabs open to sites you visit frequently (webmail, social sites) so you can quickly switch to them at need.
- Presuming you use Continue from last time, keeping tabs for later perusal
The actual options listed are somewhat more specific, though the main thing I use tabs for (checking things when replying in forums) wasn't really listed as a choice. Also there were a couple of choices that sounded pretty much the same to me ... You can select up to 3 options, so don't think you need to confine yourself to the top reason.

Would be nice if the survey would be hosted in a place that doesn't get blocked - for example on Operas own servers.
But hey - no survey will bring back the power of O12 where I could and often did open 100+ tabs at a time and worked my way though them when doing deep queries on a topic. No, stash is no alternative for that, especially because I can't set it to update in regular intervals or notify me when the site reloaded with new content.
Other uses: See the comment of sgunhouse above.

I see this is old thread, but I found a bug and filled a bug report. You can't open 100 tabs when this option is turned on. I'm not sure when it triggers, but sometimes I can open 70 and sometimes 90 tabs, but always when it starts every new tab will be just a blank page with "Loading..." title.
