@zalex108, the big question is do any of the sites above locate you?

Private windows, new installs, Sidebar settings extension doesn't work.

Yes,
They locate me.

Bing did it on a Private, so the extensions or settings blocks it on the custom profile.

Ps:
I'll recheck since not sure if tested on just Dev.

Ok,
I was wrong.

Tested on Stable and just https://www.where-am-i.co/ can find me, but on the second tab "What is my IP location?", and not too much accurate.

Oh boy. I misspoke! I had said I had tried it in a private window when I really hadn't! My bad.

All the sites above worked in a private window in Opera 54.xxx, Windows 8.1!!!

So what makes it work in a private window?

Just VPN and Adblock - there are options for extensions -.

Same here, I changed location in-country and today maps.google.com is showing correct position. No system updates or changes in settings done.

Multiple networks were tested on previous location without result.
