I had to unpin the sidebar yet again.
Why Opera reset this option after each update?
      Please fix this.

@robai Everyone using Opera should read https://blogs.opera.com/desktop/ on a regular basis.

Sorry, my time is limited (I have to do many other things), can't afford time on reading Opera blogs.
            I just gave a feedback. That's it.
I just can't believe that things I've mentioned are intentional (in case they are).

Try syncing Opera with your Opera account, I guess. For me, I have never faced this kind of problem. Well, the sidebar do pin after updating but just for a blink of an eye and then immediately return to unpin as I set it before, and the bookmark bar stays as it always do.

@robai I've got nothing on my boomkarks bar except a bookmarklet that I added myself. So I don't know what triggers this.

@newworldman I do now get the unwanted bookmarks. Not sure why they didn't appear initially.

Same shit appeared on my bookmarks bar today. Annoying as hell.
Same thing with pinning the sidebar.
Wake up, Opera and stop doing this stupid things.
                    Getting worse evry day.

@deestonic I've just updated Opera and was annoyed by the same garbage so I came here to express my indignation about it but I see I'm not the only one.

Opera: why do you always have to overwrite my settings and bookmarks? You're not getting better by doing that.

@leocg everyone using Opera should be expecting it bahaving well and not installing some garbage with every update.

@robai it's worse than that, you can't get rid of it at all when opening a new tab... there it is. Tried emptying it, so now I have a useless empty space on the left of my favourite links. Is this the usual situation where developers working on 32" 4K monitors not seeing a problem with dictating what is done with my screen space, as for them it's nothing, a small vertical bar. However, it's a lot on a lower res screen where you need to maximise useful space. I didn't ask for it, I don't want it, I don't need it and I'd never use it. So why the hell would they make me have it? I've been using Opera for several years now, but things like this annoy the hell out of me... It's not that they have created it, fine, create what you like, just don't mandate things like this.
