Have I been hacked?

Google searches keep asking me if I am visiting sites from outside the US, and I am seeing duplicate headings and text in Russian. What is going on here?

@markdavisart Then that's it. See http://blogs.opera.com/desktop/2018/01/opera-50-introduces-anti-bitcoin-mining-tool/#comment-3693794894

You haven't been hacked @markdavisart - but Google (more specifically, Google's sites) have a heuristic that tries to determine which country you're really from. Since you're using Opera's VPN, and many people from Russian-speaking countries are too, it smartly determined that you must be Russian-speaking!
Not much to do about this apart from changing the language in your Google preferences. And maybe hoping that their algorithm will become a bit smarter still.

With VPN enabled, if I log into Gmail, I get sent an email warning telling me someone has accessed my email from outside my country and it forces me to change my password .
