Could there be a dark theme for the forum?

I'm sure there could - how dark? Light gray text on black, typical "night mode" sort of thing?

You could just use the Dark Mode extension, too.

I've tried like all of them - I'm not satisfied with them - either theme(s) or functionality demands constant care. Those are not setup and forget type of thingys.

But I agree those type of ext's could be used. And at some point I'm making one myself. But those "universal" dark ext's aren't that practical.

A night mode style would be much easier on the eyes. Thanks.

Most of what's needed is at least slightly darker BG - tuning font colors to accommodate that.

I don't want nuclear + fossil energy be wasted to light up my screen when it's not needed.

Hi! We can add "Dark Theme" to our To-Do list. At the moment there are some more urgent issues to straighten here, but I am not against a dark theme in general - I know many people find it useful.

Can't promise when/if it will actually make it to production, though
