No Sound

No audio playing any type of video or a pod-cast. New install of Opera Version 46 to test the Opera browser.
Running Windows 10 Pro. Version 1703, build 15603.502
I also use Firefox, Edge and IE11; all have correct sound output.
Opera does show up in the Volume Mixer and appears to be working OK; but nothing reaching the speakers.

While playing the video open opera://media-internals/ and see if there is any error message regarding audio.

No....Opera thinks everything is ok.Video plays fine, just no audio.

I am almost afraid to ask but did you unmuted the browser tab/window?

Well, not sure what you mean.I know the video window is not muted.

When a video or audio is playing, there should be a speaker icon in the tab bar - if you click on the icon you can mute the sound from that tab (or unmute a muted tab). Shouldn't apply to new tabs though ...

Correct...it is not muted; if you display the volume mixer, Opera is shown and is active along with the speakers but no audio coming out.
