file system search broke

When posting a file on a web page you get a window with the directories of the locations i have on my pc.
When doing a search i get hits on things i dont search for. it also shows the same files double or sometimes even 5 times in the results. -

One more thing it is also showing a lot of the notepad files i have in that directory that i am searching in, despite the file name of the notepad having no bearing on the search term

You forgot to mention your version of Opera, your OS, the steps to reproduce the problem, if it happens on any page or not.
As far as I know that dialog window is controlled by the OS so if you are having issues with search there it's probably because of a OS limitation and/or bad index.
To check it just try the same search in Windows Explorer.

It has not got the same issues with firefox or chrome, only opera shows double results in the search.
the os is working fine as im using the os search at times as opera wont find my file in the directory, it is actually not shown during a manual search true the folder.Version: 46.0.2597.57 (PGO) - Opera is up to date
