Sync reset not working

I woke up this morning to find my mobile devices were not syncing bookmarks.
So I went on to sync.opera.com and signed it and selected "Reset sync data"
Now since 1 hour I see "An error occurred. Please try again later". If I choose "Reset sync data" again, the same error occurs.
When I try to sign in from Opera on my laptop or desktop, I see "Something went wrong".
Please help as this is very frustrating.
