I have been using Opera for a long time but never expected this.
It's quite dissatisfying and unexpected that in the new update of Opera mini fast Android web browser, the browser language choice for Indic language "Odia" (ଓଡିଆ), which is spoken by almost 40 million people, has been removed.
However in previous versions the Odia language choice was there but in recent update version 23.0.2254.114923 (March 24), it has been removed.
I request you to kindly add "Odia language" (ଓଡିଆ) back to the browser default language choice option.
I had sent numerous feedback and would also suggest you to add Odia as a browser language in PC version of Opera browser.Expect your reply & prompt response.

Don't know, maybe you were using a old version?
Using latest version from play store.
Settings can be accessed by taping the Opera icon at the right bottom.
The web page/landing page takes up the whole screen, there is nothing at the bottom.
I don't know if it's stuck in full screen mode or something, I've deleted the app and re-installed.
It's obviously a bug.

Nor in the top? Are you using classic mode?
The top has the address bar and the three dots menu. But nothing else.

Greek language also removed among others with no apparent reason.

i noticed that when i turned off data saving, Opera MIni goes faster than data savings enabled.

https://goo.gl/photos/jKhocZwJY9E7JF3X6Do you use full screen? In previous versions I tried full screen and the navigation bar won't show after it hidden sometimes. Try to scroll up & down fast in portrait and landscape to see if it show. If it won't, then the last resort is to clear app data then sync to somewhat soften the blow. You definitely lose your feeds though.
From that I never set full screen, also the recent version never hide it and it perfect that way.

Cleared app data, reinstalled, the tabs and settings buttons are still gone. Nowhere to be found, this happened after an update so I imagine it's a bug that has been introduced.

Then I do download again & ya again 'Access Denied' Again press download again & again says 'Access Denied' then I again press download & then 'Download Finished' (Complete the Download)
WTF is this????? by the way, it happens frequently.
Still there has poor buggy built in download manager in Opera Mini -

Can't download anything. Opera Mini says 'Acces Denied' & the download failed. What can I do ?????

The news feed sometimes just doesn't refresh, automatically or otherwise. Really frustrating when you need to catch up on news. The feed is my primary source for them.

why took out "waiting for wifi" option in the download settings? nonsense

I have sent u an email regarding some suggestions on Opera Mini, i want to request some other different features for this app which is mostly likely to be used by many...
So here are the features :-- ADD A USER AGENT OPTION IN ALL PAGE LAYOUT
- ADD DO NOT TRACK
- ADD BACKGROUND DOWNLOADING (after exiting the browser)
- ADD A PAGE TRANSLATOR
- ADD EDGE SCREEN TAB SWITCHING
- ADD A WEB SEARCH OPTION OF SELECTED WORDS IN NEW TAB/SAME TAB
- ADD PRIVATE MODE OPTION ON FRONT MENU OPTIONS
- ADD A BACKGROUND WALLPAPER CHANGING OPTION
- ADD SECURITY ON DOWNLOADS
- ADD SCREEN ROTATION ON/OFF
- ADD NOTIFICATIONS OPTION FOR OTHER SITES TOO (LIKE - FB, TWITTER, WHATSAPP, INSTAGRAM, MAIL, YOUTUBE, QUORA, 9GAG etc..) IN NOTIFICATION AREA
- ADD INBUILT ANTIVIRUS TO PREVENT US FROM GOING TO HARMFUL PAGES
- ADD NEWS UPDATE FEATURE IN NOTIFICATION & LOCKSCREEN AREA
- ADD A VPN (if possible)
- ADD A POWER MANAGEMENT OPTION TO DISABLE THE FEATURES, WHICH ONE USER DON'T WANT TO USE
Beside these features there are some other problems i'm facing with this browser which i have never experienced before some previous updates like :-
- When my smartphone gets disconnected from wifi even for a little while, it just stops connecting anymore even when the connection is back ON.
- Whenever i try to rename any mp3 or mp4 downloading file, renaming option always troubles me like when i try to rename it the words i type gets written twice or maybe be something else. It's really really (extremely) frustrating...
- App needs stability in it's performance like when i use any stie with alot of words or any social media sites like twitter, fb, instagram or any torrent websites it starts lagging even on the smartphone with 6gb ram.
Plzz fix these issues cause it's the only best browser i have found on whole Google PlayStore to be worth contacting the developers...Thank U for this app & all of it's various great updates, U GUYS ARE THE BEST..!!
