There's gotta be a way to update opera mini for symbian users..
How about unsigned version? Or custom signing? Please consider to launch it on opera apps, opera team..
Could you add redownload option on completed download? Sometimes files downloaded incorrectly.
I also really want completely dark theme across menu and navigation bar, like the new feature of opera desktop version.
Thank you
The top has the address bar and the three dots menu. But nothing else.

Do you use full screen? In previous versions I tried full screen and the navigation bar won't show after it hidden sometimes. Try to scroll up & down fast in portrait and landscape to see if it show. If it won't, then the last resort is to clear app data then sync to somewhat soften the blow. You definitely lose your feeds though.
From that I never set full screen, also the recent version never hide it and it perfect that way.
Latest beta update today makes me unable to open feeds. It basically redirects to internal error page about invalid slot but webview didn't recognize it so it just give "unknown url scheme" error page.
I got something in mind regarding the advancement as of now.
I think high saving is still lacking in terms of the features integration and bugfixes. Maybe it's because too much complicity to work on two engines in one app. Maybe it will be better if the new Opera Mini only use high saving and the extreme only for the old Mini.
That way you can focus on improving this one new engine while putting aside the other one which is kinda limited anyway. But that's what we love, simple mini browsing. It could also help with the lower Android OS version which could only use the old one anyway to get the new look. Just keep support the app.
And as a regular user we can choose between the two apps for our needs for browsing, a quick one or basic one.
Hi, I want to report a frustrating thing with opening some site.
When I open some shady sites like torrent site on my overprotective cellular network it redirect me to their "restricted" page. I accept that, but when I switch to other cellular network and wifi with no restriction I still got redirected to the previous page from my mobile network. I think it stuck on redirect cache. It only happen in high saving mode.
What I ask from this is please add 'clear cache' or introduce more advanced clear history options with clear cache and individual site cookies removal.
Ay b0ss, in the latest beta I can't open offline pages, it's trying to open with office apps instead.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.opera.mini.native&hl=en check the icon O in red color and mini written in white font in a small triangular green background
That is the recent version.
Now it's back to normal.
It was broken for the past week or so. It got no JavaScript and I can't post comments.
And now Facebook is broken! What did you do??.
i have a question.
why large downloads (wait for wifi) has no effect when extreme mode data savings is off?
obviously, downloads will start immediately even when wifi is not available. (mobile network is connected)
Strange, on my device it did the opposite. I never set it to wait for wifi but it did anyway frequently.
I like the pop up bar for long press on web link. How about another pop up bar for back button in favorite lists.
I don't really understand what you mean, can't you just use the device's capacitive back button?
For the pop-up I wish it displayed lower than the center the screen for better reach.
In high saving there are times when sites with advanced mobile view like Facebook and youtube are not rendered correctly. I hate it when it happens because it sticks for quite some time and restarting didn't help.
Here's one of the occurrence, it wasn't supposed to display like that https://pictr.com/images/2016/12/28/499196e84f2d4a2d46d582d09fc89d33.png
It's been quite some time since the last I visit this forum, and it seems that you no longer open new thread everytime there's new beta builds out. So I guess we're gonna stick with version 20 for a longer while now.
A little review from me:
The download manager menu is nice, the ability to copy link is very useful, make it easier to move the process to other more stable downloader.
For the performance I've tried downloading a 500MB file from Openload, but in about two hours it stopped in the middle and can't resume whatsoever. From my experience Openload download link alive for 24 hours, so yeah, I don't recommend handling big files in Opera Mini. At least until it get an improvement.
One recommendation from me is the "double tap to zoom in" which instead of fitting the column width it should fit to 100% text size. It's pretty frustrating experience on desktop only sites.
Please accept my fix.
