Issues when editing a reply

I have been noticing these issues for some time already and I've decided to report it.
After I edit a reply on any thread, when the page reloads, what it shows is the first thread post twice and then my reply, skipping any other reply before mine.
Another issue occurs when the Edit link doesn't disappear instantaneously and I click on it twice, maybe due to a slow connection or simply me being impatient. This makes two editable text boxes appear, one with Cancel-Save buttons and the second one with Cancel-Cancel-Save buttons.
I hope this can be solved, although it's not big deal actually.

It has been a long time issue. Most probably already reported.

I already saw it too.

Not twice, dude!
I reported once, it was a multiple hoochi-koochi-lalapapooza, whatever.Welcome to the forums.
Yeah, we know that.
One should wonder, where are all those responsible? Not responding usually.
Well, a couple of times site went down, they attended. But these bugs? No, it must be not worth their dignity or something? They have no time?
Ah, they must have tried to deal with it, at least once, yes.
They swapped some large portions of code, it helped, but other issues emerged. They swapped it back.
It doesn't kill anyone, and the smilies button does work in the edit mode, so... -

The smilies button doesn't work when you start a new thread either, in fact it's not even there!

Well, I searched in the forums but couldn't find any thread about this, maybe it was too old and I didn't went through all the pages! Sorry for the duplicate.
BTW, is there a way to limit the search to a specific forum section? Because it searched everywhere, which is not the needed functionality more often than not.

Another issue I forgot mentioning: after editing your post, the gear icon won't display the context menu to let you edit the post again and you have to reload the page.

Yeah, we know that.
One should wonder, where are all those responsible?Seems like these bugs have been there from the beginning. It's as if the devs got so far in implementing and setting up the forum and just stopped, leaving things unfinished. Luckily, these are minor issues.
