WHY WON'T VIDEOS STREAM?

90% of the videos that I try to stream from sites like MSNBC, and most of the sites will not play in Opera! It says the video file is unrecognized or corrupt! Yet I go into Firefox, Internet Explorer, or Chrome and they played wonderfully!
What is the problem here?

It took a few seconds but it worked here. Did you try without any extension or Opera's ad blocker?

They seem to work OK here too, as you say after a bit of a delay.
Using Opera 36 on Windows XP.
They are using the Flash Player.

This happens to me as well... some embedded youtube or vimeo videos won't show images, but there is audio. It sometimes happens with youtube as well. It's definitely not my video card driver since videos play fine on Chrome and Edge.
I just updated Flash player, and PPAPI Flash is installed on plugins.
I'm running Win 10 x64 with Opera 39.0.2256.48

I have the same issue which I mostly notice with MSN. Tried with and without flash player enabled and with the ad blocker enabled and disabled. Seems to work a little better with flash disabled but not always and if if does work it is after a long delay before starting.
