Does this version bring back the option to use the old tab switcher from version 36?

dislike +++
useless news feed wasting data.
pointless search suggestions in kindergarden design.
crappy unintuitive ui plus combined adress/search fields.
twitter forcefeed and google data slurp included. -

When the planned release
37.1 to other countries?I don't think we will see anything more of 37.1, they have to fix listed issues to some extent, update the chromium version eventually, (I hope the last) and then release it as 38 beta with more countries as well. This looked like a quick preview because of the general outcry for a new version.
Does this version bring back the option to use the old tab switcher from version 36?
no

I'm not enthusiastic for the direction Opera is going in here.

Also when you have open several pages and you are watching (from tap selector perspective) the last/rightest one and click on back button to close tjat page it throws you to SD page first/leftest one page instead of next one page which was opened befrore. For illustration :
How it acts:
Opened: SD, pg1, pg2, pg3, pg4
You are viewing pg4 and close it with back button
It throws you to SD
How it used to work and should:
You are viewing pg4 and close it with back button
It shoul throws you to pg3After today's bug fix tjis is still happening!!! @operamilleson

Suggestions:
- Replace user agent menu with toggle switch; add the toggle switch to address bar; save user agent preferences for different pages.
- Bring back option to select/add suggested search terms to search field without immediate search upon selection - entering longer queries is now a real pain as suggestions cannot be utilized (except when entering the last word ).
- Bring back the forward button.
- Switching between tabs could be simpler - like swiping the address bar a la Chrome.
- Speed dial syncing is required! I've had to redo it manually about 10 times already (different phones, resets, etc.), getting tired.
Opera is still my favorite browser on mobile. Keep up the good work!

After bug fix update tab selector is white again (white tabs). Before that, first 37.1 launch, it works, noe not!

I've had those blank tabs randomly occuring ever since that tab switcher was dumped on us, regardless of software version.
After a decade with Opera Mobile as my mobile browser of choice, I'm trying Firefox. The far from outstanding "improvements" Opera have been coming up with lately are a nuisance.

The far from outstanding "improvements" Opera have been coming up with lately are a nuisance.I'm using Mini since June as well for the same reason. It looks so far that the direction Opera is heading with Mini is the more customizability, for more advanced users and smartphones, while O4A is the more simple one, more social orientated, for casuals and more for tablets.

@mrninko can you describe more in detail. When I test:
- Open tab A from home page
- Click tab manager and open new tab B
- Click tab manager and open new tab C
- Close tab C, this will bring me to tab B
- Close tab B, this will bring me to tab A
- Close tab A, this will bring me to Home page
This is how it works. In what scenario doesn't this work?

Here's video what I'm talking about https://youtu.be/byM2LRkqYR8
I opened few pages from one page. Then I went to the last/rightest page and closed it with back button. In previous versions it used to skip/show next one page but now it throws you to first page (from which pages were open).
Btw. you can also see that windows in tab selector are all white. This was fixed in first 37.1 version, but after update it happens again (that white thing).

There's still pullvdown to reload issue https://youtu.be/zl6jjOyVi9k
It's happening for long time, reported few rime, but still not fixed.
It happens after wrong page loading - page is not completely/whole loaded or is loaded as white. Or when you wanna refresh page which is saved for reading.

If the Opera changes a few points as follwing, I will use it as a main browser.
-
Change the menu bar(back, share, speed dial, tab change, account) position.
: previousely I could change the menu bar position like "phone" mode, so the menu bar was positioned to the top.
But now it is fixed position and I cannot change it. This would be uncomfortable for some users that have softkey device. -
Open website in same tab
: when I open website in the bookmark, speed dial or URL bar, the website is being opened with New tab always. Is it possible to change it to be opened in same tab? Othereise add an option for this.

I'm trying out this version for the first time today. I love the new look. The simplified button design is far better than the previous set
What I like so far is:
No more data savings meter. It's great to save data, but this a web browser, not a racing car, or a benchmarking tool or whatever. The toggle switch view is enough and that's that. What I don't like so far is:
There is no forward button. It will lead to an early uninstall, and never return, for me, unless this is reconcidered. Who's idea is it that you don't really need a forward skip button in your web browser? It is essential. You have to put it in, no choice. On the other hand, the share button which is in the position of the forward button, MUST GO! Sharing (a web page?) in a mobile browser is not paramount. This button must go back into the opera menu. The user button has to be at the top and the three dot button (or Opera button) has to come down below. It just makes more sense that way.
Granted this is a beta release, but shouldn't a browser designer "know" where the buttons should sit in the UI? This design is quirky in the extreme. The user button leads to frustration, not intuitive access. It doesn't emediately make sense, presupposes a new learning curve and a getting used to. The previous design may be old fashioned, but it is more practical. To use a car metaphor, which is what Opera so loves.. Would you buy a car that has the steering wheel in the back seat?
