Forum Inputs

  • This place is certainly not the right one, so Admins please move it on to....

I am very familiar with many forums and found, that especially this forum is very uncomfortable.

Therefore my question: is there any advice in the use of this forum and how to have somebodys comment included?

Since I have not found anything about this in the Opera pages I ask here.

  • There is a "forum feedback" section for issues about the forum, at the bottom of the forums list page.
To quote a post you need to click on the " icon at the top right of it.
It's far from ideal the way it's presented, it doesn't even say who you're quoting on the post you make, but that's it at the moment I'm afraid unless you want to get into manually adding code into your posts.

To show who you're quoting, type @ followed by the user's name.

To quote a comment, just click on que "quote" button on the left of the comment head. If you want to quote just part of it, select that part before clicking on the button.

Thanks, you helped me a lot!

  • Moved to Forum Feedback, though it appears to be somewhat after the fact ...
