clean profile and which plugins needed

Still having hanging issue with opera30. How do I create a clean profile - does that mean new email address/account for starting fresh? Also, which plugins don't we need to use?

Delete Opera's profile folder. You can find its location in the About Opera page. That will clear all of your bookmarks and speed dial info and such though. Be careful.

As for plugins, you don't need any. Opera comes with a PDF plugin but you don't need it. Same deal with Flash, Silverlight or anything else. The browser will work correctly its just some websites have content that use they plugins.

Just rename the current profile folder. You can check the path to it in OMenu > About Opera.

Ok - I will try all when I get home and keep you updated. Just to confirm: plugins are not needed to be enabled on Opera?

You only need plugins if they do something you need.
