@leocg OK thank you... I found an earlier thread on this issue from 2019 and quite a lot of agreement to change that color or give several alt-options. I read your comment that "this is the color the designers chose".

For now, I added a special button on the express panel. This address opens bookmarks in private mode:
chrome://startpage/bookmarks --private

Maybe someone knows the command, how to open bookmarks in a new tab?

I hope the developers will do something.
