We are happy to announce the release of Opera 35.
For our first stable update of the year, we decided to focus on fixing bugs and improving performance. We've heard the issues you've experienced and are continuously trying to make the best browser possible. We are working on something special and hope we can share it in the upcoming release.
Please download Opera 35 for Android from Google Play and leave us your feedback. We hope you like it!

I got the update this morning. Notifications still interrupt video/music playback. Can you PLEASE revert to the previous Opera method for handling this? It's infuriating. (Also would be interested in toggling off pull down to refresh, it's only done me harm.)

My Opera for Android updated yesterday on my HUDL2 Tablet (Android 5.1). Since then I cannot make a post onto Facebook - either on the mobile or the web version of the site. I cantype the text but the Enter key which used to make the post go onto the Facebook page / wall no longer does so. It just gives a carriage return, and there is no way to be able to post a reply now. As the keyboard is an onscreen one, and as there is no Post button on Facebook in Opera (unlike under Chrome where there is one), having the Enter key able to post is vital. It worked fine until the upgrade to v. 35.0.2070 so is clearly something to do with the update.

Unfortunately I'm still getting freezes / force closes.
For example, if I leave a page opened then lock the screen and come back or switch to another app and come back later it's a reliable way to freeze Opera into a full black screen (can only see the Android status bar). Then multiple App Not Responding messages follow.
I got a white screen in the place of the page I was visiting a couple of times too.
I always send the report via the "Market Feedback Agent" though I don't know if it's of any use for you... It goes through with the same e-mail I use on this forum.
If I can help you with anything, like, by informing the device ID in Opera's settings or anything else please tell me...Other browsers with the same Chromium version are not presenting these crashes (Chrome, Yandex Browser).
I tried Opera Mini but it's too limited for me so I'm not using Opera for about 3 months, it's a pity I can't enjoy my synchronized stuff easily anymore. -

I have Opera 35 on Windows 10 and the notifications are going to make me go back to a different browser. The noise scares my dog! PLEASE make it stop! I have gone to Settings > Websites > Notifications > checked Do not allow any site to show desktop notifications. To no avail.

You're posting this in the wrong forum area (should have posted here https://forums.opera.com/category/11/opera-for-windows), but I'll hep you. What kind of notification is this?
Opera uses Windows' notification system so what you have to do to stop all notifications is go to Microsoft Windows's Settings app - System - Notifications. There you can disable notifications completely for any app you want including Opera.
