You have got to be kidding me... What was wrong with the nice little tight little oval? When I saw this ugly circle I nearly puked. After over 6 years of being loyal to opera I think I might have to find another browser. I am legitimately having thoughts of suicide because of the fact that I'm forced to switch browsers. You guys have honestly just about ruined my life. There is no way I will be able to wake up in the morning, fire up the PC, and look at this abomination without feeling utter disappointment and sadness. What a [expletive deleted]

Language please. This is a user-to-user forum mostly, if you want to make sure they see your opinion then post in the blog (politely).
Honestly, I can't say as I like it either - but conversely a red O is not distinctive. If they changed it to make it distinctive, I can understand that from a business perspective - but I'd look for a different logo.

In Win 8.1... all I see on the Start Page is a white square... it's a white icon on a white background. Please fix.

I don't mind the new logo. A little something fresh. But of course opinions will differ.

With all the major issues and trade-offs out there in browserland (or the world at large, for that matter), you can get this worked up over just a free-software icon?? O.O Some deep breathing exercises for you seem in order here - plus a walk outside in the fresh air.

That should be the least of the problems. If Firefox wasn't even worse than Opera, I would go back. But it's worse.
How do I add a new Speed Dial?
The 'Other Speed Dials' doesn't work.
Neither does (as noted elsewhere) the 'choose your picture!' option when bookmarking on Speed Dial.
