Enter does not submit

Hi

I want to change the behavior of Opera that when you write something into eg a search box, hitting Enter submits the question.

Now it doesn't work or you have to press Enter multiple times.

is there a way to do it?

I don't think that is possible. Enter is a key function for things like text boxes. Without enter you wouldn't be able to put line breaks in your text. Thats kind of an important thing.

On a single line text field (say, a search form) then Opera will generally submit. On a multi-line form like this one, Enter should go to the next line. On a form with several fields ... do you really want it to submit if you left the password blank? So in reality, the page should control what Enter does.

Let us say like this.

In Opera 12, Enter did just like I described, single fields it worked like Submit, multiple line fields it just did a NL.

That's how I expect Enter to work.

I use extensions, but, I believe it has noghing to do with it as, the beavior is the same when I disabled them.

BTW Chrome has the same bug.
