      Hello Community,
Even though i have been using Opera since its early days (from the days when Opera was the only one with tab feature), I had quit using opera after they removed Bing and didn't wanna use Google as personally, I'm annoyed with Google and its monopoly.
Yesterday i was interested in replace Google search bar on the new tab but the option is not available. I know about disabling the search bar and I'm not asking for that solution.
I'm interested in knowing a way to replace the Google search bar or remove Google as the default search provider for that bar.
      Any help will be appreciated.

      Thanks

If you are talking about the one on start page then it's not possible.

Regarding default search engine, you can change it in settings.

You can completely remove the search bar there, but you can not change it.

To remove it, you have to go to Settings and enable "Power user mode" - click somewhere outside the search field and press the keys

Up Up Down Down Left Right Left Right B A

After confirming the dialog, down near the bottom of Settings there will be an option to "Hide the search box in Speed Dial"
