Did a search, no result except from a 2006 post from elsewhere.

Using other browsers I can drag an URL from the address bar and drop it into a folder, a *** hugely *** used feature for me.

How do i do that in Opera ??? Any advice, suggestion, assistance would be appreciated.

Yes, I know I can drag to the desktop and THEN to a folder, but that is an annoying and unnecessary step when you do it hundreds of times a month, and my desktop icons are often hidden with the "Fences" app).

Yes, I know I can bookmark, but then when I switch browsers or computers they aren't accessible, or I have to sync them constantly on multiple devices - (I keep many folders of reference URLs on my NAS for access from anywhere)

Is there some hidden security setting, or something that has to be changed or something? If I can't get this to work, I'm sorry Opera's is a very*** nice browser, but that feature lacking is a "deal-breaker" for me, hate to do it, but it's "uninstall" for Opera : (

*(***except for a UIX annoyance that when you download you have to click inside the tiny circle to "view download folder" instead of anywhere within the general filename area - made that User Interface eXperience error when I was making Interactive menus with Flash in the early 90's - why have someone mouse precisely to a tiny little area when they can quickly mouse to the general region and click? - much more efficient - like how Firefox does it - <-- that 'F' word is probably bad to say on an Opera forum ; )

Version of Opera? I know that it was not possible in Opera 12.x and earlier.

You can bring up history and drag a link from there.
