Hi Saudiqbal, if you mean the "prediction service", in that case you can disable it as follows:

      1. Go to O-Menu>Settings(Alt+P)>Privacy & security>Privacy, and uncheck "Use a prediction service to help complete searches and URLs typed in the address bar",
      2. In case, that you don't want to see the matches from the browsing history, then click the "Clear browsing data" button (also in "Privacy" section), and then in the pop-up window, make sure that "Clear browsing history" is ticked, then click the "Clear browsing data" button.

@saudiqbal: This may come from your browsing history, or from the prediction service.
Have you tried to perform the above steps? Please, read carefully the above text again:
"Use a prediction service to help complete searches and URLs typed in the address bar" 😉

He's talking about inline autocomplete (from history) ... people find it annoying if they've been to some page on a site, then want to go to the site's base page - the rest of their previous URL is already in the address bar and they have to delete it.

Exactly. Its very annoying for me since I m a web developer, I work with hundreds of URLs. I also want the drop down button back! Very helpful. Opera is for power users and make it that way.

@sgunhouse: Yep, I understand, but this is common problem for the Chrome, and Opera as well, see here.
@saudiqbal: In that case, I see no other solution but to run the Opera always in the private mode - in that case, it should not store your browsing history. You can add it at the end of the shortcut the the "launcher.exe" as below:

                "...launcher.exe" --private

I hope, that this will be helpful for you somehow 😉
