Anyone know what causes this or how to fix it?

I turned on the task manager and there was like 30 Opera applications running. Anyone else have this happen?

Do you have a lot of extensions. If you do, it's no big deal. Opera divides things up in a way that minimizes impact on your computer, but I believe that each add-on, plugin, and tab takes an application. Right now, and I just went into Opera I have 25 applications running. If you look at the memory use for each one (If you're in Windows, you can see it in the Task Manager), many of them are small. I'm not famliar with that facebook location, and whether it is contributing to anything. The advantage of this type of approach (of multiple processes running at the same time) is that if one thing crashes, the whole browser doesn't freeze.
Here's a thread though that discusses the issue of Multiple Processes for Opera.

Dude I DO have a lot of extensions! I thought there was some kind of error, like a while loop or a for loop was stuck open or something! That makes so much sense. Thank you so much man that's awesome. I'll disable all my add-ons and see what happens. Seriously, that's awesome thanks so much for the reply

No need to disable when you're set, as you are, to rock and roll! Have a good time browsing.

That's awesome man! I've been loving my opera browser. I'm glad to have de-googled my computer.
