As I understand, bookmarks are imported from older versions of Opera.
Do you have another version of Opera installed on your computer?
And, not to offend, your user name is inappropriate.

Please search before posting... Many threads exist with instructions on how to import bookmarks from many different browsers.

This is only available, when importing bookmarks from an older version of Opera.
Fact is, that Opera has distributed a half finished browser, where some very important and required functions are just not ready.:-((

And only after autoupdate/clean installation to the same folder where old Opera is placed!
