I use Opera to download some sound effects from several websites. But after downloading, the files are corrupted and cannot be played. Does anyone know how to fix it?

@thomasdiel Corrupted or simply have the wrong extension? Opera shouldn't ever change the content of a file, but under certain cases will change the extension - if the server lists the MIME type as text/plain then it'll be saved as such even if it really was a ,wav file. That is, Opera changes the file's extension to match the MIME type to prevent malware from claiming to be an image or text file. If the server was actually misconfigured and provides the wrong file type for a file, Opera will save it as whatever type the server said but no actual data is changed.

@sgunhouse also you are allowed to activate only one sounds extension to your GX browser. Good luck
