blackbird71 last edited bySince there are Developer, Next, and Stable Opera versions available simultaneously, you can always check at http://blogs.opera.com/desktop/ to identify and download the latest of whichever type at any given time. Developer versions are "bleeding edge" with experimental features that come and go with each release; Next is feature-frozen, but is still being tested for instabilities and bugs; and Stable is the "final, released" version, for general consumption. Note that with the rapid release cycle, the version within each category may be auto-updated quite frequently. So, as @leushino notes, 20.0.1387.91 is the latest stable version - as of this hour, on 17 April.

@funksoulbro and @piter432, the OP asked for the "new latest opera" - that leaves out Old/Presto Opera. There's no need to bring your negativity into this thread, even in a sarcastic way... it serves no constructive purpose. Please stand down.

12.16 IS the latest Opera. After that, the company tossed out every principle they had that made the Presto version good to chase after the dumbed-down mainstream market - which is an utterly futile exercise.

Opera 12.x is abandoned software and not supported/updated anymore by Opera.
Current Opera is Opera Stable 20.0.1387.91.

The latest version of Opera web-browser is 12.16. The latest decent version is 12.14 (12.15+ has been worsen through new rendering bugs)
Technically speaking, Opera 15+ is not browser, it's shell of Chromium/Blink. -
