Lost bookmarks

Hello,
I ancounter the problem with my bookmarks, becouse of the disk failer in my laptop I had to put up whole system ones more. After instaling the Opera ones more I hope to see all my bookmarks from previous usage of Opera still in place thanks to loging in. And I was in deep pain not seeing any of them. Can You help me with recowery?I have got Appdata folder of opera from the faild disc maby it can help somehow.

@usagi-san1234 Fortunately bookmarks are not encrypted on disk, so yes they can actually be transferred from another machine. Find the files Favorites, Favorites.journal and Favorites.bak and copy them to your new profile (while Opera is closed) and your old bookmarks should be fine.

But sorry for asking one more question where i can find the files there are on the disk of other machine?
Or in the cloud of my opera account?Sorry for asking the maybe obvious question but this bookmarks I collected ass long this browser exist and used them for work daily. So when the system disk failed in my PC I was pretty wrecked

@usagi-san1234 In your disk, in Opera's profile directory. Usually in C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming\Opera Software

@leocg Ok, thanks I lost all data from the disk so i see it's unrecoverable

SWK058 last edited by@usagi-san1234 Just go look for restore program: in 2000 i format HDD and got in few H all back. Use a SEARCH engine: ddg, plz....
