I got the same Walmart business ad
Made this account on the forums just to add to the complaints. All settings I could find for advertising are turned off, and adblockers enabled, obviously they won't block their own ads on speed dial though.
Used OM for years but I'm done after this! -

@nothanks9 I saw the ad the next day and closed it again, haven't (yet) seen it a third time.

Updated to 80.1.4244.77335 today and now, a whole bunch of ad sites showed up at the top of my homepage! If Opera weren't the only browser (other than Chrome) whose sync function has the least issues for me, I'd ditch it for good
right now! -

I'm getting this Walmart ad for the second time. I uninstalled & reinstalled opera, ad blocking is enabled but that annoying Walmart ad keep showing up at start. I'm about to ditch opera for good. Firefox Mozilla doesn't force ads on people like that but it doesn't allow me to read Facebook posts without having a Facebook account. You can do that with opera.

@ragbrairat I feel the same way. Using https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=cz.mobilesoft.appblock right now. It helps bit no less annoying....

This has been going on for weeks. I started using https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=cz.mobilesoft.appblock to get around it because sometimes when I click the down arrow it takes me to their website anyways. It only takes one plague rat to sink a ship. What trash.. this used to be a good browser too...

My wife got this multiple times and now it just happened to me.
Closing it only makes it go away temporarily.
I get that opera needs some form of remuneration but not being able to control what appears on my main homescreen drives me nuts. Opera has been my go-to browser for years and years but I won't stay if this persists.
Fix this.

@prisoner428 Why should we have to install another app just to stop this nonsense. Opera should fix this.
