It's a marvel, I don't understand why people say it doesn't work with YouTube; I just reinstalled Windows due to a conflict with an app (Macrium Reflect) that damaged my operating system and required a clean reinstall since it was irreparable; I installed OperaGX, and on YouTube, I had a big ad. I installed this extension, adjusted it, pressed F5 on YouTube, and no more ads! And that's even before I logged into my account.

It works for me too.
So just play around with the settings people

Doesn't work like it used to on Youtube, as it gives a black screen instead of starting the video right away (without ads). However...instead of having to actually watch the ads, you just sit there for the time it normally would take to watch the ads...only the screen is black and you don't have to watch a thing! The video starts after normally, and I haven't seen any ad interrupting the video midway either.

YouTube is bloced AdblockPlus after 3 videos. Shame, it was best ad blocker so far

Opera GX's integrated blocker blocks ads at the beginning, middle and end of videos; It has also been working well on the other pages, however, at the end of 2023, YouTube has been replacing all videos on the suggestion list (7 of them at least, so far) with ads. I believe that the addition of this Adblock extension to the Opera GX browser is completely unnecessary.

YouTube catches on about Adblock Plus blocking theirs ads, and tells me to turn it off in order to watch videos again. I turn off Adblock Plus, just to get an ad on Youtube to get Adblock Plus.
