Homepage in New Tab

! Works Perfectly! Just as it should and expected to do !
I dont understand people, it is a Home Button (most browsers have that house button by default) you need to press to take you to your "home page" that you set yourself.
It is Not a default landing page !
It has Nothing to do with the "Startup Tab" or the "New Tab"

What is the benefit more over a simple bookmark placed in start of my bookmarkline?

Was hoping this would work in a similar vein to Change New Tab, but basically only acts as a Home button.

It's useless. The button can only be used once then disappears from the address bar and there is no way to force it to the bar manually, or any other way. Also, you cannot set Speed Dial as your "homepage". 1 star.

Newest Opera doesn't have a home button (WTF Opera!). This looked good but, after clicking to launch the Speed Dial page, it knocks out all the news links and displays them as grey squares. Not the end of the world but bloody annoying.

Great job, Opera! You've actually driven me back to Chrome. You've managed to remove any usefulness from what WAS a good browser. I wish there was a way to roll back to the last good version.

Ngl I can not function without my home button being top left. I might as well open a new tab than dragging my mouse top right.

I want an extension so that when I call up a new Tab, it is blank with nothing on it

@icarus1954 You could just remove or hide everything on the Speed dial page, you know. Set a blank background, hide the search, speed dials, news and promotions and it'll be blank except that little setup icon. Oh, I fogot - turn off the weather widget.
If you really want blank (without the setup icon) you'd need to open about:blank as your new page, maybe from a bookmark.

@sgunhouse: when entering :Blank, I get a google search for blank
When I create a bookmark and use it I get "This site can’t be reached" for both : & ;
