A Former User last edited byHello. I formatted my computer (imac 2020/macos ventura) last week and then I installed Opera and set it as the default browser. I also uploaded my bookmark html file from my previous session and started using it without any problems. However, since then, whenever I turn the computer off and on again, Opera has signed out on all pages. I have to enter username and password one by one each time. Since I use a password manager, this is not a big problem, but doing dozens of logins per session is a huge waste of time. I chechked that the "Clear cookies and site data when you quit Opera" tab is turned off in the settings. I hope you can help. Thanks.

pat1289 last edited byHello everyone, Yesterday, I installed Opera on my MacBook Pro and signed in with my Opera account so that everything can be synchronized (I also use Opera on Windows 11). Unfortunately, I get logged out every time I close the browser, and I have to sign in again when I reopen it. It works fine on Windows 11, but I have no idea what to do on my MacBook Pro. Both my macOS and Opera are up to date. I have already asked this question in the German-language forum, I hope there won't be any issues with a duplicate post. I hope someone can offer some advice. Thank you in advance, and best regards.

asdiu79g8 last edited byThe issue is that Opera logs out from everytihng on quit.
 Mini M1 - Ventura 13.2.1 - Opera 96.0.4693.80 (arm64)- Clear cookies and site data when you quit Opera-> OFF
- I don't care about cookies -> Disabled

 - Opera does remember account details on re-launch (could be due to MacOS), but are logged out from all and require passwords (haven’t messed around with keychain or what the right terminology within Opera is..).
- Have to reconfigure opera sync after re-login (doesn’t remember anything).

 - Ethernet is currently routed through a PC as an ad-hoc to aid an bluetooth issue (apparently common), but had the logout issue prior (I also would assume MAC/IP doesn’t change while just quitting and reopening Opera)
- Opera GX installed too, but also on other systems without no issues.

OpraticTyler2224 last edited by@burnout426 said in Opera is not saving data (or it's being removed): Test this solution. Remove the Opera Safe Store password from Keychain Access login item. Steps: Open Keychain Access application Choose 'login' keychain on left Choose 'Password' group Find 'Opera Safe Storage' entry, right click it and choose Delete. Legend, Thanks for giving us this info!

sophiehijink last edited by@burnout426 Hi where can I find this Keychain access application?Opera doesn't ask for autofill :((. I also tried importing my passwords, but that did not work either. I really don't know what to do to get opera to safe my passwords. Thanks in advance!
