<![CDATA[[Solved]Opera is not saving data (or it's being removed)]]>Hi everyone,

for the past couple of days, every time I close Opera GX my session data gets erased and I have to log in to all my accounts again, even when i've told them to remember me.

If it did work, you just saved me from switching back to Chrome, but if not, it's ok. I'll be back.

I'm on a 2013 Intel Mac and on macOS Catalina.

Some users had to do that too.

I was very impressed with it and have used it for several years. I've changed settings many times, still can't get AI
on tthe sidebar. Perhaps you could tell me how else I might be able to get it to do what others seem to have managed that despite following all the instructtions and uninstalling then reinstalling, it will not do what it purports to do. What could you suggest please? It otherwise has so much going for it.

So I had to create another new one, which I hope it will actually remember the next time.

This thread is not "solved" and even with the newest & latest Opera Update, today, it's still not saving passwords!! I am still having this same issue where, whenever I restart my laptop and reopen Opera, all of my login information isn't saved. So I have to re-login gmail, youtube, and the whole shabam.

I tried the solution offered by user burnout above, where you delete the Opera Safe Storage in Keychain Access, but even then my info isnt saved. This solution is not working for me. Is there anyone else having the same issue?

Would be nice to get an official fix for it rather than Opera relying on people in the forums trying something that doesn't work for everyone.

I've deleted the login data, and will see if that does the trick. I see the safe storage file has again re-emerged in my keychain folder, so I deleted it, yet again. And now I'll see if re-logging into sites will stick, next time I close & re-open Opera....

By the way, last night I updated Opera on my older MacBook Pro, and it is now back to its old tricks of running up my RAM & CPU usage! This was happening all the time, until one of the recent updates got rid of that issue. Now it's back again.... wonder what those crafty developers/programmers did this time.
