@sgunhouse i dont know if the sync box was unchecked or what but i lost all my saved speed dials and bookmarks, i scavenged my hard drive for the bookmarks file with a data recover but didnt find it, probably it was overwritten with something else, is there anything else i could try?

@fabricio-oliveira Presumably the backup was gone too? Nothing on sync.opera.com? Then no, can't help.

If you accidentally formatted your PC without syncing your data, you may still be able to recover your data using a data recovery software. Here are some steps you can take:
Stop using the PC immediately: Once you realize you have lost important data, stop using the PC to avoid overwriting any of the data that may still be recoverable.
Download and install data recovery software: There are many data recovery software options available, such as Recuva, EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard, and Stellar Data Recovery. Download and install one of these software programs on a different computer and transfer it to the affected PC using a USB drive or external hard drive.
Scan the PC for lost data: Follow the instructions provided by the data recovery software to scan the PC for lost data. This process may take some time depending on the size of your hard drive and the amount of data stored on it.
Recover your data: Once the scan is complete, the data recovery software should display a list of recoverable files. Select the files you want to recover and save them to a different drive or storage device to prevent overwriting any of the data.
