My opera GX, tab slash is not working

When i close tabs there is no slash sound just a tab close sound but when i disable tab close sound there is still no tab slash sound.

@alexan I know this is old, but it's the first thing to appear on google.. so I figured I should reply here.
This is the description of tab slash as I was able to find with some googling around.
What is tab slash Opera?
For the tab hoarders among us, Opera GX has a new useful feature called Hot Tabs Killer which lets you identify the most resource-draining tabs and slash them with a sword to make sure the browser doesn’t overburden your PC or laptop. -

@sgunhouse no hes right, the user is talking about the sound setting FOR what kincayd said, basically the user thinks that the sounds are for closing tabs but kincayd explained that no.
basically, @Alexan, the tab slash sound isnt made when you simply close a tab, in your sidebar, in the gx control part (if you have it enabled) at the very top youll see a section called hot tab killer, and if you press the x next to one of the tabs in there, it will play that so called slash tab sound. thats what its for

@alexan Tab slashing and closing a tab are different things that have different sounds. That is why no tab slash sound is heard when you turn off tab closing sounds.

Well for tab slashing you have to go to GX control on side bar then under Hot Tab Killer an close any tab and you will here the sound.
