We are happy to announce the release of Opera for Android 71 (71.1.3718.67122)! This version introduces support for simpler editing of stored passwords and a rebuilt start page with easier customization and beautiful wallpapers.

More changes/additions:

• Chromium 104
• Stability and performance improvements

@miyukiwork hello. It seems like we cannot choose our own images to be set as wallpapers... Am I mistaken? Will this be changed eventually?

@miyukiwork So, after we have setup wallpaper for the first time, can we get this wallpaper button to disappear from start page? It occupies whole empty row above search bar

Exactly. Imo this new wallpaper button needs to be moved to Settings/Appearance. It kind of messes the looks of Opera home page.

The wallpaper button takes up space on the home page. I don't think that someone changes the wallpaper so often that this button needs to be taken out separately from the settings. It just hinders and annoys.

@miyukiwork I love the wallpapers! for now the one with the blue green starfield above the dark forest. I do agree with others, next version move the button, either into Settings or the bottom of Home.
