Can I use Opera for Android on Fire 10HD tablet?

Hi, has anyone found a way to run Opera on an Amazon Fire 10HD tablet? The Fire's "plain-Jane" Silk browser doesn't compare to Opera. I believe Fire runs on a version of Android.
Any suggestions on how to install any version of Opera?

@o4o Can you install non-market downloads? There is a link on the download page to download the APK directly from Opera, but many devices will not install apps that don't come from whatever store their system uses.
