How to disable tabs list popup?

Currently using Opera version 82.0.4227.23.
I keep multiple tabs open per website. My Opera recently updated and now when I hover over a tab, it automatically shows the other tabs open that are for the same website. How can I prevent this? I looked under settings, but can't find what I'm looking for.

Ah, thank you for the re-direct. I don't know why I didn't think of searching.

the drop down info menu that shows up when put the mouse pointer on a tab can be annoying at times.. however.. is some instances the drop down menu can include other tabs which causes it to cover the screen and is annoying, how can this be unchecked.. or at least delayed to prevent the screen clutter.

In previous version you could disable the tooltip popup in the flags, but now that I updated my opera it returned and I can't find the setting anywhere. Does anyone know how to disable it?

@leocg Thanks, than I guess I'll try installing an older version, If that doesn't work I'll just look for another browser. This is the second time opera screwed something that work perfectly until recently.

The flag is gone. Are there any other setting to disable this annoying "feature"?

Now you are forced to use this sh*t and nobody wants to know about your opinion.
OR
- downgrade to a better version: https://get.opera.com/ftp/pub/opera/desktop/
- disable the autoupdater: search for opera_autoupdate.exe and open Properties of the browser icon - in the target field add C:\Users*yourProfile*\AppData\Local\Programs\Opera\launcher.exe --disable-update
OR
simply switch to a more reliable browser.

Man this gimmick is really annoying especially if you have this tooltip obstructing the video you are currently watching. I hope they consider at the very least offering an option to turn off this thing.

Speaking as someone who has a 30 or more tabs open at any given time -- often from the same site -- this "feature" is making my browsing experience completely unbearable. The developers should at least have the decency to give the end user the ability to turn this abysmal nonsense off.
Your primary goal is to attract new users and retain current ones, and new features are nice (and necessary) in a browser market filled with competitors. I get it. But adding new features without providing a way to opt in or out is just bad form. Not all of us want new bells and whistles forced down our throats, but here we are.
Granted, your "average" user won't mind, but you risk alienating users who would recommend Opera to others. I'm one of those users, and I'll steer those in my sphere of influence away from Opera because you're reinforcing my belief that the end user's opinion doesn't factor into your decision-making process. Firefox lost users by doing whatever they wanted without regard to the interest or opinion of their user base, and you seem to be following suit. Being comparable to Firefox hasn't been a positive thing in over a decade, and you'd be wise to correct the errors that have led us here.

My opera just updated, it didn't from a while, and I have back this annoying feature.
@kchochev do you know from which version was removed the flag? to know which one download

@stialmanstike I suggest to report this like a bug to the opera team.
The pop up is very disruptive when you work with more than 4 or 5 tabs of the same site.
we Have To have the ability to turn off this awful functionality.

@vegaoscuro Yeah, that's why I've switched to Vivaldi now. Their devs are listening to the community and not forcing stupid changes down their throats.
Opera only cared about us when they were dying. Now all we get are middle fingers. A shame. -
