Opera has installed Facebook on my PC without warning.

I just installed Opera, because I felt like getting ahold of privacy and all that. I installed it, thinking that I would have my privacy now, and I look down to see Facebook on my taskbar. What the hell, Opera?!

@crocomire94 Where did you get it from? Opera downloaded from Opera's own website doesn't come with other apps.

Sounds like an unofficial download of Opera.

Someone at https://www.reddit.com/r/operabrowser/comments/rimbdm/virus/ said they tried to download a game and got Opera and a Facebook shortcut instead.

@crocomire94 Not sure where you got a Facebook app from, but Opera would prefer you use their own browser to view Facebook so them including a separate app is nonsense.
