I no longer see the VPN in the browser, and a search for “VPN” in the search field in Settings yields no results. Has the VPN service been discontinued?

@vlad3 Only in places where the authorities prohibit it. Opera has never intended to break the law.

Opera VPN is banned in some countries. Russia for example recently banned Opera VPN.

@sgunhouse Since the free service is no longer available in some places, is a free VPN add-on/ extension the only good alternative?
