Opera will not install setup downloads I click on it and it says error x00000005

i allowed Opera setup through the Firewall that did not help

You've had this problem for a while now?

Windows 10 then?

Also, did you ever fix this error?

It seems like something is really messed up with some Windows files or the registry, even if scannow etc. didn't find any problems. Are you able to do a fresh install of Windows 10 using the newest version gotten from https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10?

You can use https://www.nirsoft.net/utils/product_cd_key_viewer.html to get and back up your product key just in case you need it after installing Windows 10 fresh.
