This is what I am talking about.... Right-clicking in this window ought to paste whatever is in the clipboard... But opera brings up this...

I honestly don't know since the program I am on is remote.
Maybe the page uses some function that Opera doesn't have?
How can I check if the page use a function that Opere do not have?

Some browsers allow JavaScript to read the clipboard - generally a bad idea if they can do so without your knowledge as your clipboard might contain anything. Possibly they are actually using JavaScript in a way Opera doesn't allow.
There should be a demo version of whatever software your school is using somewhere, if you can find a name for the software we'll look it up.
