Where is the "Recently closed tabs/Tab menu" button on the top right?

@SymphonicPoet It's been already said several times that people form Opera read the forum and take what people say into consideration. Even so that the included a way to see more recently closed tabs in Opera developer 71 for those who can't search for their recently closed tabs.
Tabs menu has gone in Opera 69 and I don't really think it will come back.

@dragonchi I started testing Vivaldi a few days ago and it is going very well for now. Maybe it will help you.
It was made by an old Opera developer, I'm really liking it.
(I used Opera for 20 years ...)
I like it better than Firefox. -

And I don't think that acting like a spoiled child will make them change anything.
The truth is, I think your response as a moderator is regrettable.
It is disrespectful and without empathy in the face of numerous argued complaints from many users for so many months without response.
I think it is not necessary for you to express yourself that way when faced with something that does not seem like a good option. Correct with respect please.
It is not the first time you have done it and several users have already told you, but you can see that you do not care, and neither does Opera.
Their attitude is one of the reasons he added for me to leave Opera and replace them with Vivaldi after 20 years of user.
It would be good if you check your attitude, it does not help at all.
(As I clarified it several times already,
this is not personal, it is a difference between a common user and a moderator.) -

1 ) For someone that seems to have been using Opera for a while, you should already know that you shouldn't expect answers from Opera.
2 ) It seems that you are misunderstanding the function of a moderator in a forum. They exist to keep the forum organized and the discussions civilized. They are not referees, they don't have to stay neutral on a discussion.
3 ) Maybe you are right, maybe I really don't care that much. Those are changes that any capable adult person can deal with and not exactly the end of the world.

@leocg What a lousy example of "staying civilised". My opinion is that calling someone a "Spoiled child" is by no means civilised. I know you said that moderators can take sides, and, frankly, we can all see that very clearly, thank you very much, but that doesn't mean anyone has the moral high-ground to call out someone else because they think their "problem" isn't "exactly the end of the world".

Instead of simply improving/restyling the existing TabMenu and adding a search field there they replaced it with a part taken from the removed 'InstantSearch' feature (InstantSearch had the 'search for tabs' feature, by the way, but it was said that the InstantSearch was unpopular feature that's why it was removed. So it's worth asking why we have a part from unpopular feature in the top right corner now).
Now they are trying to recreate the already existing and well working tabs management popup (I mean Tab Menu), but it seems that the final result (regarding the functionality) will be worse anyway than the existing one. That what I can call as 'wasted developers resources'. -

Well, my browser just updated to version 70 today. The recently closed tabs button is gone. I'm already missing it. Please reinstate it. We can't all be wrong!

That would be true if we all made or somehow participated in the decision, and since what's happening is nothing of the sort, the only truth is what the opera management team says it is.

For version 70 (without flag) I recommend to use "SimpleUndoClose" extension with lost functionality.
https://addons.opera.com/ru/extensions/details/simpleundoclose/I think at this rate of regression, the opera team will force to look for alternatives, since the second chrome is not needed.

As a really old user (one who paid for Opera without ads) I am really disappointed in how the browser is being changed over time. When we get used to something, that is working just fine, and suddenly it gets changed/removed... Opera has one of the smallest shares of users. Is it really that hard to listen to them?

The best feature for me, I know on which page are all my devices (3) and I can continue to surf from whichever I want
Big mistake that they removed it -

Big mistake that they removed itExactly! The main purpose to use the old button and behaviour was exactly this feature! Recently closed was just addon for it.

@roberto64 I've used it as a second browser for a year or so. It never became my first brower, because of the boot time.
The Undo Cosed Tabs button is not working as slick as I want my browser to work. So from now, as a long time user of Opera, I'm uninstalling it, and will look for an alternative.

@sokonik1975 You still can se that info by using the tabs icon in the sidebar.

@leocg Where it pops up in yet another new tab and you have to navigate through even more new territory and further out of your workflow. I suppose we'll all just have to learn a new interface.

Agree with OP, that function was very! useful everyday, Idk why they remove it. Please return "Recently closed tabs", maybe optionally at least
