              I like this graphic - nice and simple with bold colours and a nice asymmetrical composition. So I'm curious, how does Opera Software actually create the image content? Or more interestingly, how does it find the ideas for its content?
              I ask because this image is disconcertingly similar to one of my own that can be found on stock photo sites around the web...

                @muttly Personally (and I don't work for Opera so couldn't speak for them anyway) I see no particular resemblance between the two. Theirs is much cleaner, with no crossbars, street light or the other clutter in your image. Their image contains 4 telephone lines, no electric or other utilities. Sure they both have a pole, several wires and a clear blue sky, but that's about as far as the similarity goes.

                  @sgunhouse Really?
                  IMG_0451.JPG
                  To me, the angles of all the lines and the placement of the pole and the cloud being cut through by the lines, they are uncannily similar.
                  Yes the Opera Software is certainly less cluttered, but that makes sense that it would be because it's inappropriate for a desktop wallpaper as it is, it needs simplification for it to be effectively used for that purpose. And there are all types of software out there that could automatically create simpler versions of any given image.
                  Don't get me wrong, I'd be flattered if it were inspired by my picture , but if that were the case then it would have been nice to have received an acknowledgment. Every artist on the planet knows how difficult it is to get anywhere in their career and I'd assumed and hoped the people at Opera would have an empathy with that situation.

                    @muttly There are probably lots of images like that around there.

                          @muttly: Yes, there is slight resemblance between the two, but that is because they are both telephone poles. Look up photos of telephone poles and you will get hundreds of ones that look just like yours and the opera graphic.

                              Это мои любимые обои. Надеюсь они всегда будут доступны. Они приятны глазу и на отвлекают на себя лишнее внимание.
