@yanta Better not search for user agent switch
This is something different: In these cases, developers have simply taken the function of their extensions as the basis for their names.
If uBlock Origin had just been named "ad blocker" and other developers had just named their own ad blockers "ad blocker" as well, that'd be fine with me.
In the case of uBlock Origin, however, an independent name of a highly regarded addon was simply copied unchanged. Is this really the policy of the Opera add-on catalog?

Hi @yanta, it looks like the extension by ublockplus is hidden from Opera stable, and other browsers like for example Chrome, Firefox, but is available for Opera beta and developer.

@yanta Don't know if there is any policy regarding the extensions names.
There is a policy, but there does not seem to be one that would prohibit the exploitation at will of the name of the best rated and most used extensions for one's own purposes. Thanks for the answer, though.

Thank you for your investigation. Once again luck (or misfortune) seems to be lying in the spoofing of the user agent...

@yanta You're welcome, but please keep in mind it seems to be hidden for good reasons, as you noticed it yourself as I see. I mean crashing the Opera in incognito mode, when the sidebar is disabled. Also, it looks like the issue concerns most or all extensions, which are displayed/used in the sidebar.

@leocg Please clarify on what you mean.
The browser if it's a variant of Chromium is the only one that needs to completely check if the extensions work or not on their browser. Plus I really do not think it is that difficult to move the extension bar from its usual place to the sidebar.

@artexjay Chrome store, as far as I know, blocks all browsers other than Chrome. And can't just bypass it by changing the user agent.
That's why you need to use an extension to be able to install Chrome extensions in Opera. If you could download the extension from Chrome store, it probably could be installed in Opera.
